I am adopted, I had an in-depth talk with my birthmother about why she decided not to get an abortion, she referred to religious reasons, and I respect that. | Yes I do support expanding federal funding to expand these programs. Many of our seniors are worrying about not being able to afford living because of medical expenses and the rising costs of everything due to inflation. If we don't expand federal funding for these issues that we already pay taxes for out of each paycheck these social safety programs will cease to exist. With the upcoming generation, a lot of people are not investing in 401k or pensions as well as many businesses are switching from DB to DC plans that have huge implications. | |||

When it comes to businesses getting relief for Covid-19 I think the PPP Loans were a terrible idea, and something along the lines of ERC tax credit is a way better idea. The way we measure inflation is through private industry so if a company is price gouging during a time of economic uncertainty it should be able to be stopped through congress. | |||

| I think we need to take a hard look at our higher education and how predatory the loans are. How much it costs to obtain a degree, and the overvalued importance of said degree. We marginalize communities that may not have an address so we need to put in more polling places in remote areas like reservations that historically don't have addresses. We need to address this issue and as responsible gun owners, we need to come to the table and help problem solve because the amount of gun violence is out of control. We need to make an easier path toward citizenship it is so difficult right now and it's not fair, Some people are escaping places of extreme violence and poverty and just want a better life we need to have more compassion on this issue. | |||

| My top Priorities are Worker's Rights I would like to empower the worker instead of the corporation and the best way to do that is through unions. We need to give more power to OSHA,EEOC, and SEC when complaints are filed and investigated we need to redo workers' compensation laws. Making healthcare more affordable by making it so hospitals, insurance companies, and pharmaceuticals can't collude with each other on the prices of goods and services. Therefore, making the market competitive and a competitive market brings down the costs for everyone. |
